Just a quick mid-week note.

Thank you/whatever/ewwwww!!… to the alarming number of hits to this blog lately via search engines using the phrase “photos of post-mortems”. Now, lets be positive and conceive for just a moment that these might be persons with a perfectly sound reason for searching for such things online. The only problem with this theory is that if you are studying for a career in that direction, more direct sources of information are probably available to you than my assorted ramblings.

So, to clear things up, there are no photos of post-mortems anywhere on this site. I do however use the phrase “post-mortem” in the literary sense as the heading for one post a while ago. I use the phrase in the “let’s look at how that all went with the benefit of hind-sight” way and not in the “icky pics of dead people” way.

This rant does however have a trade-off though. Either I ignore it or I mention the phrase “post-mortems” a few more times and probably increase my hits.

I guess that ship has sailed.
