Sean’s Birthday

A Bloody Lifetime Away.

Sean is 39 today. Me too in a few weeks time.

27 years ago today, I spent a very short weekend away from school at his house in Tidworth. This was about a year before we moved there. I don’t remember much except he got some record vouchers and bought Blondie’s Parallel Lines in Andover. I have a vague recollection of going out for an Indian on the Saturday night before going to see Rocky II at a cinema, the name of which escapes me. I do remember eating pear drops there and they remind me of that time even to this day.

At least they would if I actually ate sweets anymore. Ho hum.

Death Of A Thousand Cuts

I can’t stop bloody cutting myself shaving. I even stopped shaving completely for 3 days over the weekend and that still hasn’t worked. Just as I think I am going to manage a clean towel there it goes. Today it was my lip. Ow.

Solutions to this problem gratefully accepted.

Website

Finally finished my new website front end. It took me most of Saturday afternoon and I am quite pleased with it, except the pic of me standing up with the cat at my feet. Its going soon. It seemed like a good idea but I have decided it looks stupid. So there.

MySpace

Will Jordan (Kitchener Class of 87) popped up out of nowhere on MySpace this week which just goes to prove that there are more of us out there yet to say hello. He has never been back to the school since he left. Weirdo. Can you imagine such a thing? One of us..one of us..one of us…

Salut

  1. Mate I have been on the beer red wine and cocktails and can only say that after all these years there is no answer to the cuthroat question. No matter what Mr Gillette comes up with the blood transfusion service could not do better

  2. The cut solution = Huge amounts of bubble wrap, roll it all around you. I realise this may be impracticle due to bodily functions and work and eating but think of the fun you can have popping all those bubbles.

Like your front page, but is there a grammar/spelling mistake on the BLOG button? It says ‘ written on an a almost frequent basis.. ‘ is there one too many ‘a’ in there? if not sorry. it just didn’t read right to me.

  3. Sorted. Ta.
