What did I learn today?
If I can possibly drag myself away from the 50th Eurovision Song Contest, I may drive the bloody tune of our own fair entry from head. Noble Daz and the naughtily dressed schoolgirls, like most of the output of Steps a few years back, refuse to leave my head. Their twinkly melodies doing what they are designed to and drilling into the subconcious.
It’s been quite a night.
Doctor Who defeated the Cybermen whilst Billie legged it about in a very tight and slightly unbuttoned waitress/french maid outfit. The annoying Ricky bloke has left, which may also be considered a bonus.
Then, a scant hout later, Fathers For Justice invaded the lottery studio and frightened Eamon Holmes half to death. Like Brave Sir Robin, he bravely turned his tail and fled. Amusingly and perhaps inevitably, there was nothing on the BBC news website about it for almost 2 hours whilse ITV.com waited about 5 minutes.
So will we win? Watch this space.
