1. Sort the blog design out.
Yes, exactly the sort of job that the word “quickly” was not designed for. Sure enough, one split-infinitive and 4 hours later and it seems done. The snow only stayed a day but it made the blog look very Christmassy, so it stayed.
It’s the last day of my Christmas hols tomorrow. I can’t get out of the habit of having a long time off at this time of year. I wonder where I got the stupid idea…
Still, everyone else has been back a while and I haven’t done much. The extra time off does limit the financial effects of a 6 week month. Only 3 weeks to go until payday from Monday but it will still be a struggle. Cars - you can’t live with them and you can’t get to work without one.
