A serious dent in the Old Boys fund. Damn them all to hell.

First serious repair in 3 years but this is little consolation. I had reckoned on £150 for the two. Tops. What do I know?

In other news. My headache of yesterday finally vanished around 3am when I finally dropped off. Unfortunately, I misread my retro analogue style alarm radio and got up at 6.30am, 1 hour early. I have loads to do tomorrow so I plan on sleeping for the whole of Sunday, even though I understand that you can’t actually catch up on sleep like that. I guess I will find out.

One advantage of the dumping of the Honda at the local garage is that I got to ride in a taxi for the first time in quite a while. Nice conversation of a slightly rascist nature in an air conditioned Vauxhall is a great start to the day. Quite honestly I switched off when he got onto the Chinese, instead concentrating my gaze on his Christmas Tree “air freshener” as it wiggled in response to some of the worse driving this side of Bangalore. It was so thrilling, it almost softened the impact of the £6 bill. Almost.

Before I head off to Bedfordshire, does anyone want to buy a spare piece of window class for a Honda Concerto? No? Oh well. A quick visit to EBay is in order.
